One of oldest restaurants in the neighborhood has reopen around the corner, the Blue Muse is popular with the symphony-and-opera crowd.
The Continental menu is infused with a French flair, with dishes like Medallion of Pork with a Ruby Port Wine sauce or English duck glazed with cognac and topped with raspberry sauce, served with garlic-sage stuffing and Grilled Ginger Prawns lightly coated with Olive Oil and Brandy, Garlic, and Lemongrass Aioli. The atmosphere and staff are pleasant.
The bar itself attracts opera performers and the locals from the neighborhood, and can get quite lively.
Weekend brunches are also offered.
